About Mother

[The first section of this blog is a book written by Gaia Communicator Mare Cromwell called Messages from Mother…. Earth Mother, which was released at the end of October, 2012. Several gifted Native American elders have confirmed that Mare is working closely with Earth Mother. You can read all of the Messages from that book here or purchase the printed book independently. It is also available as a Kindle ebook and at other internet venues, and can be ordered from any bookstore in the USA, Australia, Great Britain, and other international sites.

What is there to say?

She is Mother. Earth Mother. She is Gaia. She is the ground we stand on. She is the powerful Planetary Caretaker who birthed evolution into existence on this planet. She is the one who dreamed all the fishes in the ocean, the trees, the plants, the four-leggeds, even us two-leggeds into existence. Along with the  Great Mystery/God/Allah/Creator/Great Goddess/Creatrix (choose your term.)

All planets have Planetary Caretakers. This one, Earth, happens to be female. Some Planetary Caretakers are male, such as Mars.

She is also an aspect of the Great Divine Mother, the Goddess/Creatrix of the universe who is the feminine “half” of Creation. Earth Mother embodies the Great Goddess/Great Divine Mother here on Earth and her deeply powerful, compassionate, procreative energies are the Great Mother grounded here within our planet.

There is more to her than words can truly describe. Especially English words since our language is missing terms that can truly go into detail about her and what she is about. Most native tongues have words in their languages that can better describe her.

And she’s been forgotten, for the most part. Sigh …

This blog is a series of messages that Earth Mother has asked me to share. I’m a multi-award-winning author and nature mystic who has studied with Native American teachers for nineteen years. I have surrendered to Earth Mother and Spirit to do this work in these ‘interesting’ times. One Shoshone elder, Bavado (Rainbow Thunder Heart) refers to me as “The Voice of Earth Mother”.

Initially, I was not comfortable with being so public about my relationship with Earth Mother. So the book Messages from Mother…. Earth Mother was written as a story in which a young woman in despair meets Earth Mother in the forest. That full story is here.. But in writing The Great Mother Bible, it was clear I had to dig deep to find the courage to write from the first person, as in I, Mare, am communicating with Earth Mother (and the Great Divine Mother also), along with the plants, stones, etc.

Somehow that courage has been surfacing. Seems we all need great courage, and a vision of hope, to be alive and thriving these days as it is.

What fun!  And a trip too… oh, yes. Life is a trip. And a grand adventure too.

Oh … some refer to Earth Mother as the Sacred Feminine, but there is more to the Sacred Feminine than her. But that is a much longer piece, much of which is shared within The Great Mother Bible.   5. Beautiful. The images, your words, the meaning. It also beautifully complements an earlier book of mine called Finding Heaven Here, collecting the testimony of mystics from across the ages telling us that this is still the Garden. I wish you well.

  7. Now I need to read John robinson’s book. This is a wonderful book. Most days, I now put cornmeal out and thank Mother Earth. I am mostly remembering to talk to the trees I planted this summer and the blue spruce from several years ago.

    I also have received message from God and Mother Earth, through a Deva, called deva Necta! The Nectar of LIFE, that actually flows from our Mothers breast, if you for a moment consider – our planet – to be like a woman body! This last winter, I walked in the forrest, with my little dog, Ludde! As I walked there, a deva approached me, and kissed me on my cheek! A warm loving kiss in a very cold winter day! Thank you! She had something important to say! About, the ground I was walking on! A sacred ground – as all of Mother Earth is of cource! But this particular ground had a special meaning – as all parts of Mother Earth has special meanings! An energy vortex! Possible to messure if you want to! Nectar of life, nutrient, life flow, milk of Mother, friendship and creativity! Wow I just thought – this is wonderful! There are many devas! They are feminine beings that always aid Mother Earth! If you are quiet, in silence, in a relaxed mood, you can begin to feel, listen, hear her heartbeat…! Mother, she loves YOU!

  22. Thanks Mare for your apology to men. We are abused in many ways as well and have not done well with it. I was never touched with tender love from a man growing up. No physical contact unless to get my ass beat and sometimes other body parts. I still ” jolt when a man reaches out to touch me even if it is in tenderness. I have come along way and still going somewhere filled with love and an open heart.

    – Yes, in that Apology I did not address how men are physically abused also. There is such hurt and woundedness in our society, and just too much abuse toward too many. It makes me so sad.

    I have received an incredible response to this Apology. It’s amazing… people such as you are sending me messages, and one man drafted a whole letter back, from the Divine Masculine center within him. People are crying reading it, and more and more.

    I recommend you at least connect with her before you decide whether you can afford her or not. At the very least, you can see what she does ( lots of examples on her site), dowload her free worksheet and audios to get a clarity for yourself. If Julia is not the one for you, you will be better able to communicate with someone else or do it yourself. Just a reminder…we are better able to expand when we entrust our visions to others for assistance. The law of abundance works in support of others in their visions thru collaboration. Trust in the Mother. She’s nurtured you this long and desires to continue to do so. Also…remember (if not delve deeper into) your Why you’re doing what you do. Clearly knowing and operating from your why will bring about the what, where and when. You will then be more free to allow Mother to speak and you won’t have to seek. Remember the turtle.
