I’m revisiting your question here several years later.
If you seek to communicate more with the stones in your life, I encourage you to set up a spiritual practice with an altar where you can come to a place of stillness, after connecting with the Great Mystery and Earth Mother. From this place of stillness, you can tune in to your stones better and develop the capacity to listen to them. It takes time. I’m getting that you are already doing this. And working with an altar and connecting with Mother and Creation will help you also.
